Fresh impetus for Cuxhaven's port industry
Michael de Reese, member of the Rhenus Cuxport management board, opened the general meeting of the Hafenwirtschaftsgemeinschaft Cuxhaven (Cuxhaven Port Association, HWG), which is now in its 51st year, for the last time.
De Reese is leaving Cuxhaven for professional reasons and was therefore no longer standing for election. He handed over the important office to the previous deputy chairman, Arne Ehlers, managing director of Breb and Blue Water Breb Cuxhaven.
The elected board members extended a special welcome to the new members Alexandra Brandt, deputy branch manager Cuxhaven at Niedersachsen Ports (NPorts), Kristoffer Mordhorst, plant manager Siemens Gamesa Cuxhaven, Jürgen von Ahnen, agency manager for the city of Cuxhaven, agency for economic development and Kai Mangels, member of the board of Stadtsparkasse Cuxhaven.
