Fourth French hub for SGL
It’s a fourth location in France for Scan Global Logistics as the company opens a new office in Marseille. The Marseille office is close to France’s second-largest port area, connecting the logistics provider with trade routes to Asia and the USA as well as Africa and the Middle East.
“With access to the Marseille port systems, we can also manage customs declarations and controls, ensuring a smoother process for our customers,” says Olivier Sainterent, managing director, SGL France.
SGL already operates three other offices in France. The new location strengthens its network in the Mediterranean region, particularly for ocean shipments and airfreight from Marseille and Nice airports. The office is currently run by a team of three experts in forwarding, ocean freight and air operations, with more employees expected to join them in the future. (mk)
