Four heavy-lifts for Intermarine
Intermarine, a multi-purpose carrier based in the Americas, is planning to add more vessels to its fleet in collaboration with the Jumbo-SAL-Alliance. The significant expansion includes four heavy-lift vessels, acquired on a long-term charter, to be deployed on global trade routes, particularly between Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
The vessels, named 'Industrial Fraternity' (F360), 'Industrial Skipper' (F500), 'Industrial Swift' (F500), and 'Louise Auerbach' (F300), are scheduled to commence operations from mid-January to early February 2024.
The F500 and F360 vessels feature heavy-lift cranes, while the F300 offers a smaller lift capacity. Built between 2016 and 2017, the F500 types are among the newest and most efficient in their sector. (pb)
