Forward Solutions supports women in IT
The freight management software company Forward Solutions is showing its support for International Women’s Day by celebrating the talented women in its growing team.
The company has embraced a hybrid working model, split between working from home and the office. Yamilet Gonzalez (pictured), who works in the software support team, said that she’s noticed that “the sector has been quite male-dominated. More recently I’ve seen more women applying for technical roles, however, both at Forward Solutions and across the sector.”
“Luckily,” she added, “our hybrid way of working at Forward Solutions allows women like me to balance parenting and working full-time. Everyone here is understanding. More policies like this will encourage a fairer gender split in IT.” (cj)
