Fleet expansion with two Volvo trucks
UK-based Builders’ merchant Frank Key has added two new Volvo FL 250 4x2 rigid trucks to its delivery fleet. The 16 t FLs will be used for multi-drop deliveries across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire.
The two new FL rigids offer two-step entry and are powered by Volvo’s D8K engine, producing 250 hp and a peak torque figure of 950 Nm. They will cover about 40,000 km per year.
Frank Key, established in 1907, is an independent builders’ merchant and plant and tool hire specialist supplying building, plumbing and timber materials, as well as stocking interiors, landscaping and drainage products. (ben)
