First EffiShunter 1000 arrives in Sweden
The CZ Loko plant in Jihlava (Czechia) experienced a historic moment when it dispatched the first of a total of five EffiShunter 1000 locomotives ordered by Trainpoint to Sweden. The locomotive is expected to enter service during the first months of 2023.
The four-axle EffiShunter 1000 is known to be reliable and cost-effective. It is equipped with the uniform European Train Control System (ETCS).
For the Scandinavian market, it will also be equipped with the national ATC train control system. It may thus be used not only for shunting but also in full-fledged line services.
Sweden has thus become the twentieth country to which CZ Loko exports its locomotives. (ben)http://www.czloko.cz
