Finance guru for growth in Asia
Emergevest, a private equity investment group with holdings that include EV Cargo, one of the largest private logistics companies in UK, has appointed Lawrence Lim as director with responsibilities for investment origination, execution and portfolio management.
Lim joins Emergevest as the Hong Kong-headquartered group looks to increase its investment activity in Asia, bringing with him 13 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience, having executed more than USD 50 billion of transactions for corporate and private equity clients.
Lim has held several executive positions in sector coverage, leveraged finance and M&A. Prior to Deutsche Bank, where he spent the past seven years in New York and Hong Kong, Lim worked at Nomura, UBS and Wachovia/Wells Fargo. (amh)
