Fiege extends its Dutch location
Fiege started building a new warehouse in Zaandam, North of Amsterdam (the Netherlands), in October last year. The 43,000 sqm logistics hub is scheduled to be completed by August 2022.
Both the general contractor, Goldbeck Nederland B.V. and Clarion Partners Europe, an investment company, are project partners.
The additional new building has four different warehouse sections and will extend the company’s current branch in Zaandam, which will remain in operation.
The proximity to the container terminals of the Port of Amsterdam as well as Schiphol airport was the reason to choose this location. The building will be infused with natural light and, in a bid to advance electric mobility, will feature multiple EV charging points. (sh)
