Fernando Lopes joins CDB Aviation
CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., (“CDB Leasing”), has appointed Fernando Lopes as vice president, commercial Americas. Lopes started his new role at the end of September 2022 and is working from São Paulo, Brazil.
Lopes joins CDB Aviation after a long career at Embraer, where he held executive and managerial roles over a span of eleven years. Most recently, he was regional vice president sales with responsibility for facilitating new aircraft sales, managing relationships with leasing companies around vintage aircraft, as well as supporting service and support sales.
Prior to that, Lopes supported the OEM’s efforts in securing financing for aircraft deliveries and implementing commercial aviation sales campaigns. (cj)
