Faster deliveries between Germany and Ireland
Carousel, a European time-critical in-night logistics specialist, has launched a new air cargo route between Hannover, Germany, and Dublin, Ireland. The service was developed following consultation with existing customers requiring the shortest possible time between order placement and delivery to the end customer.
Carousel’s Hannover-Dublin route will be operated using a 9 t payload aircraft, departing daily (Monday-Friday) from Hannover Airport.
Customers in the automotive and agricultural parts sector will particularly benefit from this new route, as well as those in the medtech, construction, and materials handling equipment (MHE) sectors, the company said.
Carousel acquired Dublin-based full-service transport and logistics company Alltrans in late 2022, and recently announced the successful mutual integration of their IT and operational systems. Carousel is now investing in additional operational sites at Dublin airport. (ben)
