Fast trains between Western Europe and Romania
Swiss intermodal operator Hupac has introduced a shuttle service on the axis between Romania and Western Europe. The train promises fast transit times and a wide range of network options.
The new shuttle runs between the Ploiesti terminal near Bucharest (Romania) and Duisburg (Germany), Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Ludwigshafen (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium) and Vienna (Austria) and provides smooth further connections to Italy, Spain and France, Hupac says.
Currently, the service offers one roundtrip per week to and from Ploiesti. The trains leave Romania for Western Europe every Tuesday. (ben)
