Fair winds for Finnlines
The Finnlines Group has reported its cumulated results for the first three quarters of 2021. While revenues went up by 17% from January to September 2021 to EUR 425.9 million compared to the corresponding period in the previous year (EUR 363.1 million), the net result for the reporting period grew by as much as 27% to EUR 69 million.
Ebitda amounted to EUR 121.2 (EUR 107.2) million. Over the first nine months of 2021, Finnlines transported 583,000 (536,000 in 2020) cargo units, shipped 124,000 (102,000) cars, and carried 1.04 million (811,000) t of freight. The upward trend continued during the third quarter when cargo volumes rose on almost all routes. (sh)
