Expanding business with new locomotives
CD Cargo has placed an order with Siemens for ten interoperable multi-system Vectron MS electric locomotives with a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h. The new rolling stock be used for the transport in other countries with port access like the Netherlands and Belgium.
The ordered locomotives will be equipped with the European Transport Control System ETCS Level 2 Baseline 3 and will gradually be handed over from the second half of 2024.
CD Cargo’s portfolio includes the transport of a wide array of goods ranging from raw materials to products with a high added value, containers and special consignments as well as rental of railway wagons, railway siding services and other transports. (ben)
