Eurowings contracts EWF
Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has won Eurowings – Germany’s largest leisure airline – as a new customer for its composite aftermarket business. In its direct transactions with airlines and MRO companies, EFW offers high quality composite spare parts as well as customised composite solutions based on customers’ requirements.
The cooperation with Eurowings marks an important milestone for the expansion of this segment, as another well-known airline chooses EWR's products.
From EFW, Eurowings will receive composite spare parts for Airbus aircraft such as floor panels and cargo linings for the Pax and cargo compartments, providing increased robustness and durability. First products were delivered back in July 2021. (cj)
