Emission-free deliveries in more cities
Dachser has already implemented its "emission-free delivery" project in Stuttgart and Freiburg in Germany and in Oslo in Norway. The project will now be rolled out in another eight European cities - Berlin and Munich (Germany), Strasbourg and Paris (France), Prague (Czechia), Copenhagen (Denmark), Madrid (Spain) and Porto (Portugal) - by the end of 2022.
In this offer, the Germany-based carrier delivers all shipments in a defined inner-city area, usually the city centre with pedestrian zones, emission-free as a standard service.
With its pilot project in Stuttgart, Dachser won first place in the German federal environment ministry's sustainable urban logistics competition of 2018. (ben)
