‘Emirates Delivers’ – now also from the UK
Online shoppers from the UAE have used ‘Emirates Delivers’ to shop from US retailers since it was launched in 2019. Now, just in time for last-minute festive shopping, Emirates SkyCargo has added the UK to its home-delivery shopping platform.
Items purchased from UK e-commerce retailers will be delivered to a customer’s British address, where goods can be stored free of charge for up to 30 days. Customers can continue to shop and build up their purchases with the flexibility to create a shipping request anytime in said 30 days. Once a shipping request is created, their purchases will be consolidated into one parcel and delivered to their designated UAE address in three to five days.
Emirates offers cargo capacity on more than 119 weekly flights to the UK, specifically six flights a day to London LHR, three to London LGW and one to London STN, three a day to Manchester, two to Birmingham, and one each to Newcastle and Glasgow. (ah)
