Elsen goes for LNG trucks
Elsen Logistik has purchased two Iveco trucks that run on natural gas as an alternative to electric vehicles. The German service provider is trialling the LNG units to set an example for more sustainability.
Elsen is deploying the LNG trucks, which have a range of about 1,500 km, to transport commercial and industrial goods in Germany. The way the vehicles are used ensures that they can refuel at the LNG filling station in Grünheide in Brandenburg (Germany).
If the project is successful, Elsen will add more LNG trucks to its fleet next year. (ben)
