ELP delivers second Euro Dual to NRS
Nordic Rail Services (NRS) has ordered an additional Euro Dual locomotive from the leasing company European Loc Pool (ELP). It will be the second locomotive of this type made by the Swiss-based manufacturer Stadler Rail and will be delivered already this month.
NRS will use the Euro Dual on various routes in the northern German region, particularly for transporting construction materials. It is used to load materials from quarries and unload them at asphalt plants and transhipment points in non-electrified areas.
NRS is a part of the Lübecker Hafen-Gesellschaft (LHG) corporate group. (ben)
