ELL and Central Station extend cooperation
ELL Germany and 4PL Central Station have extended their cooperation for another five years, focusing on spare parts logistics for ELL’s locomotive fleet across Europe. The agreement includes plans for a new warehouse near Vienna, complementing a facility in Kassel, with the goal of improving lead times in this region and reducing transport costs.
“We want to continue to grow together and optimise our logistics processes,” says Strecko Mühling, chief commercial officer at 4PL Central Station (pictured). He added that “this explicitly includes the field of sustainability.” The contract between the two companies includes the expansion of CO₂ reduction reporting. (js)
