EFL strengthens sales team
Dublin (Ireland)-based freight forwarder EFL International Distribution has appointed Kevin Blake as its new sales and development manager.
Bringing knowledge and experience of the Irish logistics market in both imports and exports, Blake was recently operations manager at Freighteam Ireland, where he has held executive positions in various areas of operation over the past twenty years.
For instance, he managed a daily UK groupage trailer service, a Turkish road service, a bonded warehouse and a forwarding department. EFL director Chris Radley says that “the Irish freight industry is seeing many opportunities arising from the UK’s exit from the EU and a change in some trading patterns,” and adds that Blake’s appointment is part of the company’s aim “to capitalise one of those opportunities.” (amh)
