Dutch haulier purchases 75 e-Actros
With this new batch of e-trucks, Simon Loos will expand its existing fleet to a total of 135. This summer, the Dutch transport company was the first company outside Germany to start practical testing of the e-Actros 600, for which three professional drivers were specially trained by test engineers from Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
Within a few months, the near-series prototype of the trial vehicle covered 25,000 km between suppliers and the regional and national distribution centres of Albert Heijn, the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands.
The first of the recently 75 ordered e-Actros 600 in the distinctive Simon Loos livery is set to hit the roads in Q1/2025. (ben)
