DSV Solutions expands logistics hub
DSV Solutions is expanding its logistics centre in Lahr (Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany). The company plans to add 24,000 sqm more storage space by the end of November, whereby the first 12,000 sqm of the expansion should be already completed by October.
By doubling its storage capacities, the Danish transport and logistics services provider makes room for new business. Currently, the company is using the hub to store technology products, consumer goods, foodstuffs, packaging and medical products for around 30 customers.
In view of the upcoming expansion, the DSV has already been able to acquire new orders, which will be handled in the new part of the centre as from the autumn this year. Besides storage, the company's centre in Lahr also provides flexible value added services, display assembly, a customs warehouse, a certified food warehouse and dedicated storage facilities for medical products.
