DSV and Slimstock join forces
DSV Global Transport & Logistics has signed a partnership pact with Slimstock as the software provider of choice for inventory optimisation. Slimstock's software and supply chain expertise is now being utilised to help the DSV team optimise its inventory and supply chain.
Meinderdjan Botman, CCO of DSV Solutions, remarked: "Today, clients demand more than warehousing, order processing and distribution. They require a logistics partner that shoulders responsibility for the whole supply chain - including inventory optimisation.”
DSV’s first customer to use the Slimstock software is a South African car dealer that has outsourced its logistics to the local DSV subsidiary. DSV launch a pilot project to start the management and enhancement of inventories with the Slimstock software. (mw)
