Driving inland shipping in Rotterdam
On 1 January 2025, Jos Davidse will take over as chairman of the management board of HGK Shipping Rotterdam.
With managing directors Andreas Lemme and Egbert Schelhaas, he will oversee the strategic development of the subsidiary of HGK Shipping and a European specialist for inland navigation. It provides push tug, container and dry cargo shipping, as well as agency and transhipment services in Europe's largest seaport.
The creation of the new position emphasises the company’s growth potential in Rotterdam. Here, it will focus on expanding traditional cargo flows, but also on exploring new business areas that are emerging as part of the energy transition. (cj)
