Doubling traffic on a Baltic route
Since the launch of the loop in autumn 2021, Hansa Destinations has seen a steady increase in demand from freight forwarders and logistics companies looking to transport goods by sea between Sweden and Germany. Now another ro-ro vessel will enter service at the end of April.
The new vessel “M/S Eliana Marino”, which will be chartered in from the end of April, will serve the Nynäshamn - Rostock line together with the “M/S Drotten”. The new vessel has space for 2,500 lane metres of cargo traffic.
The frequency will be doubled from three to six sailings per week in both directions between the two ports of Nynäshamn and Rostock. The Rederi AB Gotland is in operation here. (sh)
