Digital transformation in maritime trade
Kale Info Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based community platforms for the logistics industry, has joined the American Association of Port Authorities (Aapa) to drive digital transformation in maritime trade. The partnership aims to optimise operations, address congestion, dwell time, and documentation challenges, and promote paperless trade.
Kale's expertise in community platforms and enterprise solutions for ports will support Aapa's mission to promote port development, environmental sustainability, and economic prosperity.
Aapa represents the collective interests of ports throughout the Americas, and Kale's SaaS-based port community system (PCS) is compliant with the International Maritime Organisation's Maritime Single Window. The IT provider is also hosting an invitation-only Clear View maritime event in June to connect industry players and push for the digital evolution of the maritime industry. (pb)
