Digital data corridor comes on stream
Kale Logistics Solutions has finished the first phase of the digital data corridor between Mumbai (India) and Amsterdam (the Netherlands) in collaboration with the Dutch company Cargonaut.
Using the iShare framework, which was created by the Dutch government programme Top Sector Logistics, the digital corridor was successfully completed in May 2019. The transaction of status updates of shipments from Amsterdam to Mumbai has meanwhile begun. Already over 550+ shipments have been processed through this new corridor.
The teams at Kale Logistics Solutions and Cargonaut have now initiated their cooperation on IATA API one-record data model specification, which will be an industry-first between the two communities. (mw)
