Digital counterpart to analogue offer
With traigo, Germany-based freight wagon hire company VTG brought digital fleet management to the rail tracks last year. After providing various types of information about the hire business, the company has now moved to the next level.
With the "wagon hire" tool, traigo users can now view the availability of wagons and submit a non-binding offer request.
This service is currently available for intermodal wagons. Users can filter by wagon type - i.e. pocket wagons and container wagons - by location and technical requirements. The desired mileage and the starting date for the lease can be selected directly. (ben)
