Destination: Dublin
Toga Freight has opened its newest pallet hub at a shared user facility in Coleshill, Birmingham, offering solutions for British exports into Ireland. Dubbed Irish Pallet Hub, the site now houses staff from both Toga Freight and its UK subsidiary, Irish Sea Logistics, which it acquired in May of this year (see ITJ Daily of 14 May 2024).
The company is seeing high demand in the UK for its forwarding services, loading over 20 groupage trailers set for Ireland daily. Leveraging new infrastructure at the Hams Hall Distribution Park, Toga can focus on offering reliable cargo services across the Irish Sea.
“Since Brexit and covid, the flows from GB to Ireland became disrupted and complicated. We have uncomplicated that and offer standard next-day delivery to Dublin at a very reasonable rate,” says Robert Dickinson, managing director of Toga Group. (mk)
