DAF: changing of the guard
On 1 January 2024, Gerald Puffitsch took over as managing director of DAF Austria in Wiener Neudorf (Austria) and DAF Trucks (Schweiz) in Mägenwil (Switzerland). He replaces the previous managing director Marc Blom, who will move to DAF Truck Germany as director fleet sales.
Puffitsch has been in the commercial vehicle industry for over 20 years and began his career as DAF’s commercial services manager for Austria and Switzerland in 2014. In 2019, he moved to new vehicle sales as sales manager for the two countries. In his new role, Puffitsch aims to focus on DAF’s battery-electric models and the chassis sector. (cj)
