Dachser to use only green power from 2022
Dachser will purchase only renewable electricity worldwide from 1 January 2022. The logistics provider, which owns 387 locations in 42 countries, will therefore increase its green power quota from around 60% to 100%. The family-owned company had already switched to green electricity in Germany and the Netherlands before this move.
Dachser is also significantly expanding its own generation of renewable energy and investing in the construction and expansion of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of its European logistics facilities and office buildings. By 2025, current capacity will be more than quadrupled, to over 20,000 kWp of installed capacity, the company says. (ben)
