Dachser picks manager for Vienna office
Michael Huttner took over as branch manager at the company’s Schwechat site near Vienna on 1 April 2024. He succeeds Dieter Venc, who has retired from active professional life after 18 years at Dachser.
Huttner joined Dachser’s Kempten office as tender manager air & sea logistics in 2001. He quickly took on responsibility for various areas in Eastern Europe, first as trade lane manager Eastern Europe, then as area manager Eastern Europe, until he was appointed country manager Dachser air & sea logistics Slovakia in 2009. Huttner has been administration manager for air & sea logistics Austria since 2021, where he has overseen several key projects, actively shaping standards, processes, and staff training. (cj)
