CTP planning sustainable German hub
CTP Deutschland is building a 60,000 sqm urban logistics park in North Rhine-Westphalia. The property, dubbed CT Park Krefeld, will include a new plot of roughly 30,000 sqm, with the remaining area to be repurposed from an existing structure.
With regard to sustainability, CTP hopes to achieve the “very good” Breeam standard with solar panels and the reusing of brownfields. The park is connected to the centre of the city of Krefeld and linked to other hubs in the vicinity via the motorway.
By investing in the site, CTP is also supporting Krefeld’s economic development and growth. Timo Hielscher, managing director for Western and Eastern Germany at CTP: "We are delighted to be able to develop the site with CTP's extensive expertise and add it to our constantly growing portfolio." (mk)
