CSX investing in digital solution
The US class I railway is further optimising its railfreight network by expanding its partnership with Siemens. The two companies will develop and implement digital solutions for railfreight services by utilising Siemens’ Controlguide Core Dispatch System (CDS) and the rail traffic network optimisation solution, TPS.live.
The partnership between Siemens Mobility and CSX began in July 2022, with the joint development of the features and functions for Controlguide CDS.
The latest capabilities of this system are set to be rolled out in 2027. CSX is one of the largest transport companies in the USA. Its network covers more than 30,000 km in North America. (ben)
