Craiss opens new location in Czechia
The logistics company Albert Craiss has commenced services at its 15th branch that is located in the town of Mohelnice (Czechia).
Craiss now manages the warehouse at an existing customer’s new production facility, and is also responsible for services ranging from incoming goods through production to packaging and order related picking.
The 6,000 sqm warehouse, which has a direct link to the production area, is equipped with a wide variety of racking technology that includes some 5,000 pallet slots, additional order picking and packing stations, staging areas and stations for the tugger trains that are deployed.
The production plant is currently in the start-up phase. It went into service at the end of last year, and more product lines will be gradually added and more employees will be recruited. Some 40 employees will be required when the final expansion phase is finished in spring 2020. (mw)
