Construction industry places new order
Logistics provider Wincanton has extended its contract to manage the distribution of Marley’s products across six UK-wide sites until 2023. Marley provides pitched roofing solutions for customers in the construction industry, including concrete and clay tiles and fittings, accessories and timber battens.
To fulfil the contract, a dedicated fleet of specialist vehicles are deployed with support from Wincanton’s wider construction fleet of over 200 mechanical off-load vehicles, the largest in the UK.
From Marley’s site in Gainsborough the forwarder transports timber roofing and decking products, alongside the transport of inbound materials from ports. (ben)
