Codognotto strengthens presence in Turkey
Codognotto Group, which specialises in integrated logistics management, intermodal transport, and sea/air services, has opened a new subsidiary company, Codognotto Turkey in Istanbul.
This move is part of the company’s strategy to enhance its intermodal offering outside Europe and create, in Istanbul, a central hub for connecting Europe to the Middle East.
Within this plan, Turkey will be linked to Italy, Poland, Germany, Austria, Benelux, UK, Slovakia, and Spain through the company’s existing network of intermodal connections starting from the Trieste area.
The connection with North Africa will be available thanks to the agreement recently signed with the Tunisian Company Vectorys Group. The new branch will also play a central role on the corridor towards Central Asia and China. (cj)
