The combination of different transport modes like road-air, all-road, and road-rail not only has ecological advantages; it also increases speed and cost-effectiveness. Kerry Logistics Network's (KLN) sea-air freight solution transports consignments from Chinese seaports to European airports within 16-21 days. This is 40% cheaper than conventional airfreight and up to 40% faster than sea freight, the company said.
KLN’s road-air, all-road, and road-rail services from China to Europe via Central Asia are faster than current sea freight routes. The road-air shipments are completed in 15-20 days, all-road in 20-25 days, and road-rail within 25-30 days. (ben)
