City transports without emissions in Norway

DB Schenker is set to attain its goal of operating city logistics in the Norwegian capital Oslo without direct emissions, thanks to the integration of new Volvo FL electric trucks into the e-fleet of its Oslo city distribution hub.


The introduction of this new type of vehicle has received financial support from Enova, Norway’s state-run energy agency. Norway’s first serially-produced 16 t e-lorry will enable DB Schenker to run its logistics services in Oslo and the region completely sustainably.

DB Schenker ordered eleven e-trucks to replace diesel-powered trucks serving its Oslo city logistics. (ben)
