Circle growing rapidly
Circle, an Italy-based developer of software solutions for logistics processes, grew strongly in 2018. Sales rose by around 20% to EUR 4.9 million, and ebitda jumped by 30% to EUR 1.3 million.
Luca Abatello, president and CEO, stated: "We are very pleased with last year's growth and the market's reaction to the IPO and our new products has been very positive so far. As previously announced, Circle will also grow through acquisitions. We are therefore steadily monitoring the market, particularly in the Mediterranean region."
In addition, Circle, together with the German engineering company Hacon, has won an EU tender. Worth EUR 136,000, it will allow the partners to explore ways to develop telematics applications for railfreight services. (mw)
