CHI takes over Frankfurt-based customs expert
Following the takeover of SchüMa Service in May, the CHI Group is now managing the specialist for customs clearance, in particular the presentation and distribution of goods to be declared, under the name “CHI Customs Clearance Services”.
Kai Domscheit, CEO, CHI Deutschland Cargo Handling: "We have been cooperating with SchüMa Services for over 15 years. With the acquisition of the company, we can now expand CHI Group’s portfolio to include the most important customs services."
Dominik Misskampf, head of business development, describes the transaction as a strategic step with regard to the 1:1 referencing rule that has been in effect since 1 August: "The company is already very well positioned to meet the new requirements and offers its services both to CHI's existing customers and to new customers or third parties."
