Changes in Konecranes leadership team
Konecranes has appointed Juha Pankakoski executive vice president, port solutions and member of the Konecranes leadership team. He took over his new role on 7 September 2023, and will report to Konecranes’ president and CEO Anders Svensson.
Pankakoski will succeed Mika Mahlberg, who will step down from the Konecranes leadership team with immediate effect. Mahlberg will continue with Konecranes as a senior advisor until 7 November 2023 to ensure a smooth handover of his duties.
Pankakoski joined Konecranes in 2004 and has held several key leadership positions in the company. He joined the Konecranes leadership team and was promoted to executive vice president, technologies, in 2015. (cj)
