Changes at the helm of EST-Floattech
EST-Floattech, a developer of intelligent energy storage systems, has appointed Mark Witjens as CEO and Joep Gorgels as CFO/CBDO. The new appointees will help prepare the company for further international growth and the roll-out of its new product, the Octopus series.
Witjens (right) previously worked for Damen Shipyards Group, for instance as managing director of several yards within Damen Shiprepair & Conversion and director projects at Damen Cruise Ro-Pax & Offshore.
Gorgels (left) graduated in chemical engineering. His previous role was global head transportation & logistics in shipping at ABN Amro Bank, where he was responsible for all customer relations worldwide. (cj)
