Chang'an freight train to improve services
The China-Europe Chang'an freight train has improved its efficiency by establishing an online ordering platform and saved logistics costs by a system of merging manifests. The deployment of the Beidou monitoring system has enabled the train to ensure real-time control over the delivery process of goods, while the use of delay insurance has provided financial support to guarantee the train’s punctuality.
The China-Europe Chang'an freight train operates thirteen international routes to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Finland and Hungary and departs from the Chinese Xi'an Port in the Xi'an international trade and logistics (ITL) park. The park aims to operate a total of 1,800 freight train runs in 2019. (ben)
