Champ Cargosystems’ hackers are the champs
Champ Cargosystems was the winner of the ‘Jettainer ULD Challenge’ at this year’s ‘Iata One Record Hackathon’.
Champ’s ‘United Lethal Developers’ (ULDs) competed against nine teams and impressed the jury with an innovative app called ‘Luna’, an AI-powered solution for automated ULD serviceability checks. Luna enables fast and precise damage assessments using voice, text and image recognition, whilst integrating secure ‘One Record’ authentication.
Champ CEO Chris McDermott said that “the app is a great example of how AI can enhance operational efficiency without replacing field experts.” Jettainer CEO Dr Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt praised the high level of innovation at the event, pointing out that ‘One Record’ opens new opportunities for optimised ULD management.
The hackathon brought together around 100 developers, with other awards going to the teams PLAC1, NE:ONE Simulate and PHP. (ah)
