Certification for quality management
VPI European Rail Service (VERS) has receive the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, as the certification agency System CERT confirmed after an intensive audit: The publisher of the European Maintenance Guide VPI-EMG works with a quality management system that fully meets the required standards.
The subsidiary of the Verband der Güterwagenhalter in Deutschland (German association of freight car owners, VPI) was founded two years ago and consolidates the services offered by the association.
The VPI European maintenance guide (VPI-EMG) developed by VERS is regarded as the Europe-wide standard for the maintenance of freight wagons and is now used by around 489 companies. VERS also carries out technical assessments of workshops to confirm whether they are qualified to work according to the VPI-EMG. (ben)
