Cargosoft launches freight handling platform
Cargosoft has introduced the information and booking platform “eForwarding”. The Bremen (Germany)-based provider of logistics software thus brings its own solution to the market, which includes all modes of transport and offers the opportunity to process both part and full load consignments.
Carriers and freight forwarders can register on the platform and use the solution either for one particular assignment or integrate the software into their own transport management system (TMS). With the eForwarding solution, customers can quickly find freight rates for general cargo (LCL) as well as complete loads (FCL).
Furthermore, the platform offers access to all current modes of transport. “Many solutions currently available on the market focus only on a small part of the logistics portfolio, because they only support one mode of transport, for example. But this approach fails to address the real needs of many customers and logistics services providers. This is where our platform sets in,” says Markus Klein, sales manager at eForwarding. (mw)
