Cargobeamer picks Nicolas Albrecht
Cargobeamer has appointed Nicolas Albrecht as the company’s new CEO. He joined the executive board as chief business development officer in January 2020. Hans-Jürgen Weidemann, co-founder and former CEO, continues as CTO.
Albrecht: “Cargobeamer has the potential to make a massive difference in saving CO2 emissions by scaling its proprietary system and further strengthening its position in the European market for road-rail combined transport. We benefit from the megatrends of climate change, road congestion and increasing freight volumes. Cargobeamer aims to generate annual revenues of up to EUR 5 billion in about ten years, an aggressive and at the same time realistic objective.” (cj)
