Cargo-Partner ups climate-neutral transports
Last year the Austrian transport company Cargo-Partner handled 2,821 more transports in a climate-neutral manner through the ‘HHLA Pure’ initiative than in the previous year.
In 2024, Cargo-Partner transported a total of 15,706 teu; 2,611 teu thereof in Czechia, 4,870 teu in Slovakia and 8,225 teu in Hungary.
The ‘HHLA Pure’ initiative reduces CO₂ emissions through the use of energy-efficient rail transport, electrified terminal operations and offsetting the remaining emissions through certified climate protection projects.
In addition to ‘HHLA Pure’, Cargo-Partner also focuses on other green measures, including paperless offices, the use of sustainable aviation fuels and photovoltaic systems on company premises. (ben)
