Cargo-partner pushing Slovenian location
Less than a year and a half after the new hub went into operation, Cargo-partner is expanding its iLogistics centre in Ljubljana from the current 25,000 sqm to a total of 39,100 sqm of warehouse space.
The warehouse was officially opened in September 2019, and the expansion was originally planned for 2024-2026. Given the strong increase in demand for warehouse services and the growth potential in Slovenia’s logistics sector, Cargo-partner decided to start the capacity expansion earlier than originally planned.
Approximately EUR 12 million will be invested in the project, which is scheduled for completion in November 2022. The upgrade is expected to create up to 30 additional jobs. (sh)
